At just 21 years old, Victor Mungofa is turning his lifelong passion for art into a lasting legacy through his tattoo studio, Vicky Tattoos and Piercings, where every tattoo tells a story and every design is created with the hope of being remembered for generations.
Victor operates from two locations in Orange Farm: opposite Eyethu Mall Taxi Rank and Ext 4, opposite Madume Primary , making his services easily accessible to the local community.
His journey into tattooing began long before he picked up a tattoo machine. Growing up, Victor spent much of his childhood drawing and discovered that people admired his artwork. Encouraged by the positive feedback, he decided to pursue tattooing professionally and dedicated two years to studying the craft.
For Victor, tattooing is more than just a career – it is a way to create meaningful, permanent art that becomes part of people’s lives.
“My main purpose is that I wanted my art to be remembered and to leave behind a legacy,” he said.
Today, Vicky Tattoos and Piercings offers clients custom tattoo designs and piercing services, with Victor combining creativity, technical skill, and a passion for helping people express themselves through body art.
As a young entrepreneur, Victor hopes to continue growing his business while inspiring other young people to pursue careers built on their talents and passions. He believes that with dedication, creativity, and hard work, it is possible to transform a childhood hobby into a successful profession.
Through every piece of artwork he creates, Victor is building not only a business but also the legacy he dreamed of as a young artist.
