Sebokeng Zone 14 Clap & Tap choir Voices Of The Soil Artists Development will share the stage with Saint Emmanuels on 8 November 2026 at the Presbyterian Church in Sebokeng Zone 12.
The upcoming performance follows the release of the choir’s debut EP, Weh Nhliziyo Yam, a four-track project recorded at 777 Records in Pretoria.
Led by Thullo Mgcina, the choir aims to nurture young talent and bring comfort to listeners through music.
According to the group, the EP has received positive feedback since its release. Its song “JOH DILLO” has accumulated more than three million views on TikTok and inspired over 2,000 duet videos, the choir said.
For Voices Of The Soil, the response marks an encouraging milestone as it works to reach more listeners and develop its young vocalists.
The group describes its songs as a way to tell untold stories, using their voices to connect with audiences through shared experiences and emotions.
“Music is not about the number but the power of voices that connects to form one positive formula,” the choir said.
Despite having a small number of choristers, the group believes its voices can make a meaningful impact.
The November performance will give audiences an opportunity to experience Voices Of The Soil live as it joins Saint Emmanuels on stage.
