Orange Farm artist THABO Splash enjoyed a busy weekend on stage, performing at an event featuring Somizi and Busiswa before returning home for a second appearance.
Splash told Orange Farm News that he performed at DX Midrand on Saturday, 3 October 2026, sharing the programme with the two entertainment personalities.
For the local performer, representing his community was an important part of the experience.
“Taking to the stage alongside Somizi and Busiswa was a proud moment for me. I was there as THABO Splash, but I was also representing Orange Farm and the talent we have in our community. Performing back home the following day made the weekend even more meaningful,” he said.
On Sunday, 4 October, Splash performed at St African Carwash in Orange Farm. According to the artist, the appearance formed part of an ActionSA Ward 4 campaign event for Pule.
The two performances brought different opportunities: appearing on a programme with established entertainers in Midrand and performing closer to home the following day.
Splash also shared photographs from the Midrand event, including pictures with Busiswa, capturing a memorable part of his weekend.
Across both appearances, his pride in Orange Farm remained central—a local artist taking his talent to new audiences while staying connected to home.
