The third annual Simon Molefe Easter Games are set to bring the heat from 18 to 21 April 2025 at Pienaar Sports Ground, Drieziek 4!
Organised by Ntsele Foundation, ANC Ward 4 & Cllr Simon Molefe, this year’s tournament is set to deliver top football action! However, if donors come on board, they hope to expand the event to include indigenous games, netball & cricket, making it an even bigger Easter sports festival!
16 top teams will battle for glory, with 7 coming from Orange Farm, 7 from Vaal and others from Finetown, Soweto and Benoni.
Defending champions Man City FC (Vlakfontein) are ready to protect their title after winning R60 000 and qualifying for the DSTV Champ of Champs last year.
Prize breakdown: 1st Place – R60 000, brand-new kit & a spot in the DSTV Champ of Champs qualifiers. 2nd Place – R20 000 and a brand-new kit.
