The Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA) has officially announced a partnership with loveLife aimed at empowering young people through football, leadership development, health awareness and community engagement.
The collaboration brings together OFLFA’s commitment to grassroots football development and loveLife’s long-standing work in youth empowerment, health promotion and education. The partnership is expected to create opportunities that support the personal growth of young footballers both on and off the field.
Through the initiative, the two organisations will roll out football development programmes, youth empowerment projects, health awareness campaigns, leadership training and community outreach activities across Orange Farm.
The partnership seeks to promote discipline, respect, teamwork, healthy lifestyles and responsible decision-making among young people while strengthening the role of football as a catalyst for positive social change.
OFLFA Secretary Patrick Mokwena described the partnership as an important step towards creating lasting opportunities for young people in the community.
“This partnership with loveLife is a significant milestone for the Orange Farm Local Football Association. Football is more than just a game; it is a powerful tool for shaping responsible, disciplined and confident young people. By working with loveLife, we are creating opportunities that go beyond the football field, equipping our youth with life skills, leadership qualities and the knowledge to make positive choices. We are excited about what this collaboration will achieve for our clubs, players and the broader Orange Farm community,” said Mokwena.
OFFA expressed its appreciation to loveLife for placing its confidence in the association and reaffirmed its commitment to building a sustainable partnership that benefits players, clubs, coaches, officials and the wider Orange Farm community.
The association has also encouraged affiliated clubs, parents, supporters and community stakeholders to support the initiative as it works to strengthen grassroots football while investing in the future of Orange Farm’s youth.
