Ext 7b’s Lehlohonolo Motloung, better known as Morena Shooter, is turning up the volume with three hot new singles that blend Hip Hop, Afro Jazz, and Afro Pop in Sesotho.
On 30 August, he dropped Nkeke Ka Hloloa and Ntwa, followed by Stimela featuring Pazzy Jazzy, Reign Africa and G Mora in the first week of September.
The official Stimela music video is already live on YouTube. Motloung told Orange Farm News: “My music is for generations to come. It speaks to both the young and the old, and I believe songs like Stimela and Nkeke Ka Hloloa can travel the world – it just takes time, patience and dedication.”
Shooter’s journey began back in 1996, using music as a voice and expression. Since then, he has graced stages alongside some of SA’s finest, including Big Zulu, Ntsiki Mazwai, the late Zahara, Masedi, and Vaal Nation. He has also shared the spotlight with Mamelodi Sundowns players and the Muvhango crew, cementing his presence in the entertainment industry.
One of his career highlights was in 2008, when he was invited to the MTN Summer Nominees an unforgettable moment that remains close to his heart. Despite the challenges of being an independent artist, Shooter stays focused on keeping his music alive.
