Local musician Mastro RSA has announced that he is officially quitting music and leaving social media as he prepares to begin a new chapter in his life.
The artist, whose real name is Mlungisi Samson Mbele, shared an emotional farewell message explaining that unforeseen personal circumstances had influenced his decision to delete his social media accounts and step away from the public eye.
“I have found it in my heart to delete all my social media handles due to unforeseen personal issues,” Elkiddy told OFN.
Mbele thanked everyone who supported his music career over the years, saying the time had come for him to live a quieter and more private life.
“After many years of creating music, it is high time I stopped and became the man of my dreams,” said Elkiddy.
He revealed that he plans to focus on his personal growth and his relationship with his girlfriend, Karabo Tsepe.
The musician also expressed his gratitude to Orange Farm News for supporting and promoting his journey as an artist.
“Thank you to Orange Farm News for the opportunity and recognition you gave me. I will forever appreciate that,” he said.
According to Mbele, the name Mastro RSA will no longer represent an active musician or public personality.
“Mastro RSA is no more. Now there is only Mlungisi Samson Mbele,” he added.
He proudly described himself as the first-born son of Madikgetla Julia Mokoena and Jabulani David Mbele, and a brother to Ntando Innocent Mbele, Nkanyezi Mbele and NkosiKhona Mbele.
Mbele also announced that he would be leaving the Vaal and returning to his family home in Petrus Steyn.
“It is time to leave the Vaal and head back home. I will forever cherish the moments,” he said.
He requested that his retirement announcement be made public so that fans, supporters and anyone searching for his name online would know that he is no longer creating music.
Mbele concluded his message by thanking everyone who had been part of his journey.
“Thank you, and goodbye,” he conluded.
