Months of hard work, discipline and tactical consistency paid off as Junior Stars FC were crowned the Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA) Super League champions for the 2025/26 season after finishing at the top of the standings with 72 points.
The title is the reward for an outstanding campaign, earning the club the honour of representing Orange Farm in the Hollywoodbets Regional League.
Head coach Themba Vilakazi said the team’s success was built on careful planning, consistency and the ability to adapt as the season progressed.
“From the beginning of the league, we had a strategy on how we were going to win it. Once we became number one, our focus was to remain consistent. Midway through the season, we realised other teams had figured out how we were playing, so we changed our strategy, and that made the difference,” said Vilakazi.
Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA) Secretary, Patrick Mokoena congratulated the team on their achievement, describing the title as a reward for their commitment and hard work throughout the season.
“We proudly congratulate Junior Stars FC on being crowned the 2025/26 OFLFA Super League champions. Your dedication, discipline, teamwork and outstanding performances throughout the season have earned you this well-deserved achievement. We wish you all the best as you represent Orange Farm in the Hollywoodbets Regional League,” said Mokoena.
Junior Stars FC’s impressive tally of 72 points reflected their consistency over the course of the campaign, with the players and technical team maintaining high standards from the opening fixture to the final whistle of the season.
With the league title secured, the club will now turn its attention to the Hollywoodbets Regional League, where it will look to continue its winning momentum while proudly representing the Orange Farm football community.
