Siyanda Vilakazi, popularly known as HighSky, is a 17-year-old rapper, singer, and songwriter from Drieziek 3. He began exploring his musical talent at a young age. Known for his versatile rap flows, he started honing his skills at just 13, shortly after the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
In 2022, he created his first song, “Take It Further”, produced by Elkiddy Man. However, due to limited knowledge at the time, he couldn’t release it and remained largely unknown. Despite this, he continued to develop his craft. By 2024, HighSky began experimenting with music on his phone using BandLab, creating several tracks that marked significant progress in his career, even though they weren’t released.
His breakthrough came in July 2024 when he met 4Cababy (Mr 701), who helped him enhance his producing skills. Together, they created multiple tracks in just two months, including “Goat Mode” by 4Cababy featuring HighSky.In August 2024, HighSky announced that he is working on his debut album, “My POINT of View”, which will feature collaborations with other artists, including 4Cababy.
He plans to release the album in December, his birth month, promising fans an authentic glimpse into his journey and the legacy he’s building in the music industry.
