Wheel Warriors NPC is calling on businesses, organisations and members of the public to help cover the costs of participating in the upcoming race.

The non-profit uses cycling to create opportunities, promote education and support community development. Funds raised will assist with registration fees, transport, cycling equipment, safety gear, bicycle maintenance and other event-related expenses.

“We are appealing to businesses and members of the public to support us financially. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help our riders participate in Ride Joburg Road 2026 and allow us to continue creating opportunities through cycling,” said Lucky Neiwenhout.

Companies may also sponsor individual riders, equipment or logistical costs.

The public is invited to join the team, with individuals, families, friends, companies, cycling clubs and community groups all welcome.

To participate, register on the Ride Joburg Road 2026 platform, select “Redeem a Promo Code” and enter WW97. Complete the registration using your own email address to automatically join the team.

To donate, sponsor a rider or request more information, call 072 643 6266, WhatsApp 067 083 7100, or email wheelwarriorsnpc@gmail.com.
