The Orange Farm Local Football Association (OFLFA) Super League brought the heat on 14 and 15 February, as local teams battled it out in a thrilling weekend of football action keeping fans on their toes.
On Saturday, Ajax18 and Orange Farm United both claimed 2-0 walkover victories against TLC and Orange Farm Allstars, respectively. Meanwhile, Junior Stars thrilled spectators with a 3-1 win over Never Give Up FC and Tsekeleke FC impressed with a dominant 3-0 performance against Blue FC.
Sunday’s fixtures brought more action as AZ Ramblers powered past City Rockers 3-0, while Ajax18 edged out Young Tigers in a tight 1-0 contest. Juventus overcame Simunye 2-1 in a competitive match, and Kweneng FC secured a 2-0 walkover against Orange Farm Allstars.
Commenting on the weekend’s fixtures, OFLFA official Patrick Mokoena said, “The league is showing great talent and commitment from our teams. Even with a few walkovers, the matches we saw on the pitch were highly competitive. It’s encouraging to see our players giving it their all and keeping the spirit of Orange Farm football alive.”
