Globally recognised faith leader and education pioneer, Professor Ronnie Moodley, was honoured at the Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, during a prestigious event hosted by Big M Productions 27 April.
He received the esteemed Influential Men Award in recognition of his lifelong dedication to spiritual leadership, education and community transformation. Professor Moodley, along with his wife Radha Moodley, has journeyed from humble beginnings in Durban to becoming celebrated figures in faith and education across 26 nations. Together, they have led numerous initiatives under Faith Ministry International, including Faith Bible College, Lifechange Foundation and LeaderSHIFT, positively impacting thousands of lives.
Accepting the award, Professor Moodley said: “The Influential Men Award was a humbling experience and I thank God for His faithfulness in using me across the world to make a difference in the society.”
With over 48,200 students mentored and 69 Bible schools overseen globally, his influence spans continents. He currently serves as Dean of the School of Theology at Gideon Robert University in Zambia, and holds doctorates in Theology, Philosophy and Leadership.
He is also a board member and professional counsellor involved in various international academic and faith-based institutions. Over the years, the Moodleys have earned 12 international accolades, including the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award and recognition from Dr Bruce Wilkinson of Walk Thru the Bible USA.
Their mission remains unwavering: to raise transformational leaders and equip individuals from all walks of life to become change agents in their communities.
