Powered by the National Arts Council, Assitej South Africa, Orange Farm News, Sedibeng FM, Nkosasana Ngobese Foundation, FRESH, and CAROB, the Orange Farm Live Music Festival promises to be an electrifying celebration of music, culture, and community.

Organised by the internationally acclaimed Afro Rock band, Shef and the Kitchen, in partnership with 76Media.co.za, this two-day festival which will take place on the weekend of 26 and 27 August is set to deliver an unforgettable experience to all attendees.

It is not just an ordinary music event, it is a vibrant local market experience aimed at celebrating the essence of Orange Farm’s authentic culture and creativity.

The festival is set to bring together diverse musical talents, ensuring a celebration of South African music and culture. Attendees will be treated to a dynamic mix of genres, from Afro Rock to Marimba, Hip-hop to Jazz, and everything in between. With performances from renowned artists like Kabomo and Shef and the Kitchen, attendees can expect an electrifying showcase of talent and creativity.

Prepare to be captivated by an extraordinary lineup of artists that includes: Kabomo; Sliq Angel; Shef and the Kitchen; Terrence McKay; Yvonne M; Futhi Mahlasela. Lerato Iamlove; The Showstoppers; Nkabi YamaFeleb; Kganyapa; Hyphentis CA; Reign Afrika; Ubuntu Marimba Band; Rejazz; Mr. Sirga the MC; Empress Lilly; Nino the Great; DJ Papi Zuu; DJ OB; DJ Syd; DJ Jabby Jabz; DJ Luwie, DJ Mat Makhubu.

One of the core values of the Orange Farm Live Music Festival is to uplift the local community and support its economy.

As part of this commitment, we are offering vendor stalls for local businesses to sell their cuisine and products at the event. We encourage interested vendors to register their stalls to showcase the rich flavors and crafts that Orange Farm has to offer. To register as a vendor and participate in this empowering marketplace experience, interested parties can WhatsApp 084 403 7157 / +27 79 430 0253 for the registration link.

This unique opportunity for local vendors to participate in the festival will not only enhance the overall experience for attendees but also contribute to the growth of the local economy. By encouraging the sale of local products and cuisine, we aim to create a thriving marketplace that fosters community pride and empowerment.

“As a festival deeply rooted in community spirit, we are passionate about supporting the local economy. We are excited to work with local businesses to showcase their unique cuisine and products at the event. This presents a fantastic opportunity for entrepreneurs to thrive, connect with a diverse audience, and boost their businesses,” said Mesia Gumede, the Festival’s Project Director.

“We believe in empowering our community through the Orange Farm Live Music Festival. By providing local vendors a platform to sell their products and cuisine, we aim to contribute to the growth and prosperity of Orange Farm’s economy,” concluded Gumede.

Tickets for the Orange Farm Live Music Festival are available for purchase at http://computicket.com. We encourage music enthusiasts to secure their tickets early, as this promises to be a sold-out event.

The festival will be hosted by the charismatic and talented duo of Slim Dope – Skeem Sam and Michael Zulu – The Wife. With their infectious energy and engaging presence, they will add an extra spark to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.

We invite everyone to come together and celebrate the rich culture, music, and creativity at the Orange Farm Live Music Festival 2023. Join us for a weekend of soul-stirring performances, delicious cuisine, and an immersive local market experience that embodies the spirit of our community.
