What started as a day like any other ended in celebration for local DJ Ndofire, who was crowned the winner of the Clash of the Regions competition after outperforming a strong field of contestants.
The competition brought together talented DJs from different regions, with each competitor showcasing their unique style and skill behind the decks. Despite the high level of competition, Ndofire delivered a performance that earned him the top spot.
The newly crowned champion admitted that he did not expect the outcome.
“I feel so happy. I never thought I would be here. I thought I would be number two and not the winner because the competition was very tight and every DJ that was playing was very good. Representing Region G as the only DJ was really a big thing for me. All I did was give it my all and enjoy myself,” said Ndofire.
For the DJ, the victory is more than just a trophy. It is validation of years of hard work, dedication and belief in his craft.
Ndofire also took the opportunity to thank those who stood by him throughout the competition.
“I would also like to thank the people from Orange Farm who came to support me,” he said.
