Young DJ and producer Katlego Lekoko is taking another major step in his music career with the release of his latest project on Spotify, marking an important milestone for the rising Orange Farm talent.
Known professionally as Knighty.RSA, the Orange Farm Ext 2 artist has been steadily building his reputation through his unique fusion of Amapiano and deep house sounds. His latest release reflects his growth as both a producer and storyteller, introducing listeners to a more refined and mature sound.
For Knighty.RSA, having his music available on Spotify represents more than just exposure — it is proof of how far he has come since first experimenting with DJ equipment at the age of 10.
“My music is about growth, struggle and becoming the person I’m meant to be. I want people to hear themselves in my story,” said Knighty.RSA.
The project also highlights his commitment to creating music that speaks to everyday experiences while staying true to the township culture that shaped him. By placing his work on one of the world’s biggest streaming platforms, the young producer hopes to connect with a wider audience and showcase the talent emerging from Orange Farm.
Knighty.RSA has already gained local recognition through performances in Orange Farm and Soweto, while also collaborating with artists such as Bayanda RSA and Lungile.
He said the latest release is also aimed at inspiring young people from the township to believe in their talents and continue pushing towards their goals despite challenges.
As he continues to grow his catalogue and sharpen his craft, Knighty.RSA remains focused on taking his sound beyond local borders and establishing himself as one of the promising new voices in South Africa’s evolving music scene
