The PLPDL Community Football League delivered another action-packed weekend, with young footballers displaying their talent across various age groups.

Matches were played at Solwazi Ground in Drieziek 5 and Hazulu Ground in Phase 1, Ext 9, where teams battled for dominance in their respective divisions.

Drieziek Lions and Young Tigers Face Off at Solwazi Ground The rivalry between Drieziek Lions FC and Young Tigers FC brought intense moments on the pitch. Young Tigers FC U-11 kicked off the day with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Drieziek Lions FC. However, Drieziek Lions FC responded strongly, securing dominant wins in the U-13 (3-0) and U-15 (2-0) matches. Young Tigers FC U-17 had the final say, sealing a 2-0 victory to split the honours between the two clubs.

At Hazulu Ground, the day started with Young Giants FC U-13 narrowly defeating Vision The Realm FC in an exciting 3-2 encounter. However, Vision The Realm FC U-15 came back stronger, thrashing Young Giants FC with a resounding 9-1 victory.

The second set of matches at Hazulu Ground saw Stretford Young Tigers FC take on Positive Living People FC. The U-11 squad from Stretford Young Tigers FC claimed a solid 3-0 win, but Positive Living People FC U-13 struck back, securing a 2-1 victory. The U-15 match saw Stretford Young Tigers FC regain control, winning 3-1. The day ended on a high note for Stretford Young Tigers FC U-17, who delivered an impressive 6-2 victory.
