Drieziek Library excels in coding competition for young innovators
On 2 December, Drieziek and Orange Farm libraries hosted a thrilling coding competition for children aged 12 to 14, showcasing creativity, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Three teams competed in the high-energy contest, where Drieziek’s team emerged triumphant, proudly claiming the winner’s trophy and medals. The Orange Farm teams secured second and third places, with trophies celebrating their impressive efforts.
Oratile Ngwenya, a 13-year-old participant, expressed excitement about the event: “This competition was a fun way to learn coding and work as a team. I’m proud of what we achieved!”
