Empowering tomorrow’s leaders: Nimrod Molefe empowers Boys in Tjovitjo

On 16 November, Nimrod Paballo Molefe hosted an impactful “Empower a Boy Child” event at the Drieziek 10 Community Office in Tjovitjo.

The initiative aimed to inspire and uplift boys in the community, encouraging them to dream big, stay away from drugs, crime and abusive behaviour, and openly discuss issues troubling them instead of bottling their emotions inside. 

Molefe emphasised the importance of recognising boys’ need for love, care, and empowerment, saying: “Boys too need to be motivated and supported. This event was all about encouraging them, but parents also came in numbers, and we ended up inspiring them as well.”

 The day was packed with fun and engaging activities, creating a vibrant and positive atmosphere. Parents and community members appreciated the platform for addressing crucial social issues while fostering unity and hope for a better future. This event not only empowered the young boys of Drieziek 10 but also highlighted the vital role of the community in shaping a brighter path for the next generation.
