Mirror, mirror on the wall: Who will be crowned Miss Central Pageants?
Nkosimphile Aliyah Masiteng, a visionary young model from Orange Farm, is redefining leadership and inspiration in the modelling industry. Masiteng, who embodies the true spirit of leadership, is dedicated to changing perceptions about modelling by focusing on building young girls’ confidence.
She believes that modelling is more than just walking in heels or gracing the stage; it’s about fostering the self-assurance needed to soar to professional heights. Through her new initiative, the Miss Central Pageants, Masiteng aims to empower ambitious young women and girls by providing them with essential coaching, networking opportunities, and life skills.
The inaugural Miss Central Orange Farm 2024 pageant will build on the success of the Miss Teen Orange Farm 2023, held on 23 September 2023 at ArtStudio. The previous event was a triumph, inspiring many young girls and showcasing their public presentation skills, confidence and poise.
This pageant is more than a competition; it’s a platform for nurturing future leaders and entrepreneurs from various townships. Participants will engage in charity projects, educational workshops and community outreach, including visits to old age homes and orphanages and donating essential items to those in need.
Local businesses are encouraged to support this event and contribute to grooming young women for leadership roles. The pageant, open to girls aged 14-26, promises to deliver an exceptional competition in Orange Farm.
