Magic Gym hosts Health Marathon, aims to empower communities in fitness and wellness

On 7 September, Magic Gym held an exciting Health Marathon at Bakgatleng Pub and Grill, focusing on various aspects of exercise and body transformation.

The event drew a crowd of fitness enthusiasts and was attended by 30 gym instructors from across Gauteng, including areas like Thembisa, Pretoria and Vaal. The event wasn’t just about fitness – it was also a powerful networking opportunity. Magic Gym’s founder, Mduduzi Mthembu, aimed to build strong relationships with established instructors, bringing their expertise to the Orange Farm community.

“Magic Gym is more than just a place to work out,” Mthembu shared.

“We empower people to live healthier lives, which also supports their mental well-being. Our goal is to educate people on achieving their desired bodies, boosting their self-esteem and creating a positive environment.”

The event was a great success, with Mthembu expressing his gratitude: “I’m thankful to everyone who attended, especially the instructors. I truly appreciate their support.”

Looking ahead, Mthembu announced another upcoming event on 5 October, set to take place at the same venue. This time, the focus will be on honouring women who are battling cancer or who have survived the disease.

“The theme for the day will be all pink and we want these women to feel loved and supported. I invite everyone to join us,” Mthembu said.

Mthembu called for sponsors and partners to assist Magic Gym in its mission to promote a healthy lifestyle in Orange Farm. “We need proper gym equipment and support to host more events that will reach more people and help them improve their health and fitness,” he added.
