Dialogue at Old Multipurpose Centre addresses men’s health and social challenges
On 24 July, various stakeholders convened at the Old Multipurpose Centre for a dialogue aimed at addressing the challenges faced by men, both in health and social contexts.
The event provided a platform for men to openly share their issues, engage in discussions and seek solutions. Topics such as gender-based violence (GBV), mental health, substance abuse and men’s clinic services were among the key points of discussion. The event also featured group discussions and insightful talks from representatives of different organisations.
Stephen Lehlala, Health Promoter at Stretford Clinic, shared his thoughts with Orange Farm News: “It was an informative event, with a lot of valuable information exchanged. We appreciate everyone who attended, including stakeholders like Khoroni Men’s Forum, TB X-Ray, Keready, Anova Health, Old Mutual and others. A big thank you also to all the speakers for their contributions.”
