Izinja zegame: Dube Warriors dominate Kwamshaya Winter Tournament
Kwamshaya Winter Junior Soccer Tournament took place from 15 June to 23 June at the Ext 1 Park Grounds, featuring divisions for U13, U15 and U17 teams. Dube Warriors demonstrated their dominance by taking home trophies in two divisions.
Prizes included trophies and medals for all winners. In the U17 division, Dube Warriors emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Junior Stars. In the U15 division, Dube Warriors won again, defeating Batsogile 3-0. The U13 winners were Kweneng, who beat Dube Warriors 1-0.
Themba Thenjekwayo, Mshengu of XI FC told Orange Farm News: “We hosted a tournament this past weekend in partnership with Nkabi Yama Feleb, and it was a huge success. We thank everyone who contributed to making this tournament great. This was a great display of local talent and our boys are really talented. Such tournaments motivate them.”
Thenjekwayo added that the Top 16 U21 and First Teams tournaments will begin in mid-September, along with a Ladies Top 8 tournament.
