High-Density Operation in Orange Farm leads to 10 arrests and closure of Illegal Shabeens
On Monday, 24 June, police conducted a High Density Operation alongside its force multiplier, CPF Siyabangena Patrollers and Gauteng Traffic Wardens (GTW). The operation resulted in the arrest of ten suspects for various crimes and the closure of three illegal shabeens in the area.
Orange Farms SAPS, Sgt SJ Motsapi, told Orange Farm News: “Among the ten arrested, three individuals were detained for illegal immigration after failing to produce legal documents proving their lawful status in the country. Acting on reliable information about drug dealers, the operation led to the arrest of three suspects found in possession of Nyaope and Crystal drugs. Additionally, an unlawful firearm and ammunition were seized, and the suspect was arrested for possession of an illegal firearm.”
All ten suspects will appear before the Vereeniging Magistrate’s Court to face charges for their crimes.
