Vision 2025 FC wins PLPDL U15 Youth Day Tournament
On 19 June, the PLPDL U15 Youth Day Competition final unfolded at Hazulu Ground, Ext 9, Phase 1. Vision 2025 FC emerged victorious over Streford Young Tigers FC with a commanding 4-2 scoreline in what proved to be a fiercely contested match. Vision 2025 claimed the Mikasa Kick-off soccer ball and a R400 cash prize as their well-deserved rewards.
The competition featured a round-robin format with five teams, where only the top two progressed to the finals after completing all matches.

Following a competitive series of matches, Vision 2025 FC topped the group standings, securing their place in the final alongside Streford Young Tigers FC.
“We extend our gratitude to all community members who attended and supported our youth football event, showcasing the talents of our young players,” said PLPDL’s Mpe.
“We call upon local sports authorities and the South African Football Association (SAFA) to recognize and support grassroots football in communities like Orange Farm. Establishing a SAFA status for our Community Football League would bring numerous benefits, including MySafa cards and other opportunities, ensuring our teams can compete without the challenges of long-distance travel,” he added.
