This event promises not only a day filled with soulful music but also an opportunity to exhibit Orange Farm’s capacity to host large-scale music events, fostering community cohesion and providing a memorable experience for attendees.
Dubbed the Africa Music Concert, this event is a celebration of African heritage and unity, fittingly organized during Africa Month by Shef And The Kitchen. It aims to bring together residents of Orange Farm and surrounding areas through the power of live music, embodying the spirit of African pride and solidarity.
Speaking to Orange Farm News, Shef And The Kitchen expressed their vision of inclusivity, stating, “We are proud to bring together communities of all races through this concert, celebrating our shared African identity.”
The event is set to take place at the Orange Farm Blkzeus Bar and Grill Outdoor area on 26 May, from 12pm to 8pm. Anticipating a turnout of over 400 attendees from various locations, the lineup boasts a roster of talented artists including Sliq Angel, SAMA Award Winner Reign Afrika, Dimhar, Jae Nuune and DJs such as OB Gwala, Mochacho, DJ Syd and King Surge, among others.
Supported by Mabhengz Holdings, Carob Magazine and 76 Music, tickets are available at computicket pre-sold and at the gate.
