PLPDL Community Football League gears up for action-packed weekend

This weekend, the PLPDL Community Football League and Competition is set to host exhilarating Freedom Day games on 27 April.

The matches will kick off from 10am to 5pm, featuring an intense U13s competition played on a point system across two groups: Group A and Group B, each comprising four teams. Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, scheduled for Sunday, followed by the eagerly anticipated finals at 3:00 pm.

Group A matches will take place at Drieziek 5, Solwazi Ground, while Group B will battle it out at Ext 9, Phase 1, Hazulu Ground.

In Group A, teams include Positive Living People FC, Stretford Young Tigers FC (Team B), Mighty Paradise FC, and Young Tigers FC.

Meanwhile, Group B boasts Vision 2025 FC, Dona’s Mates FC, Stretford Young Tigers FC (Team A) and Asasa FC.

The champions will not only secure bragging rights but also walk away with a coveted trophy, gold medals and a cash prize of R750.
