Cychozet unleashes fury as the hip-hop titan!

Meet Sabelo Ndala, better known by his stage moniker Cychozet, a multifaceted singer, hip-hop artist and producer hailing from Ext 6b.

His musical journey traces back to 2012 when he first dabbled in the art of battling as a rapper, eventually transitioning into a full-fledged recording artist in 2016. Since then, Cychozet’s path has been paved with triumphs, marked by television appearances and radio airplay, solidifying his reputation as a trailblazer in the industry.

At the helm of his own indie label, Kasi Motion Productions, Cychozet’s accolades continue to pile up, earning him recognition as the Best Lyricist at the Timeline Radio Hip-Hop Awards in 2023. Notable television spots include a feature on SABC 1’s One Mic Season 3 and a memorable performance on Metro FM’s One Time King of Rap Activity Jam in 2019, further cementing his status as a force to be reckoned with.

In his own words, Cychozet shares insights into his musical evolution: “I’ve curated two EPs, ‘Namane’ and ‘Basuwe,’ blending Sesotho traditional melodies with hip-hop beats, a subgenre I affectionately refer to as ‘mangae on beats.’ Alongside promoting these EPs, I’ve released rap singles like ’70 Something Bars,’ ‘Dear Life,’ ‘Rainy Days,’ and ‘Yoyoyo,’ some of which have soared to the top 5 charts on Thetha FM.”
