Action-packed weekend unleashed by PLPDL

Last weekend, the Hazulu Grounds in Ext 9, Phase 1, witnessed a vibrant display of talent as parents gathered to cheer on their children.

The matches were intense as Dona’s Mates Football Academy hosted Stretford Young Tigers FC. In a gripping U11 encounter, Stretford Young Tigers FC emerged victorious with a narrow 1-0 win. However, Dona’s Mates FA U13 staged a comeback, securing a 2-0 victory with their precise crosses.

The U15 category saw Dona’s Mates FA clinch a 1-0 win, while the U17 match ended in a thrilling 3-1 victory for Stretford Young Tigers FC over at Drieziek 5, 7/11 FC U15 secured a last-minute 2-1 victory against Positive Living People FC after a tense 1-1 draw. Positive Living People FC faced another defeat at the hands of 7/11 FC U17, losing 4-1.

Vision 2025 FC U13 battled Young Tigers FC to a 2-2 draw, salvaging a point with a late equalizer. Meanwhile, Vision 2025 FC U15 dominated their match against Young Tigers FC, winning 5-1. However, Young Tigers FC U17 retaliated with a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Vision 2025 FC.

The PLPDL Community Football League and Competition NPC urges more community members to show their support for grassroots football and the talented youngsters who grace the field.
