Ntate FOCHO to drop new single ‘Lenothi’
Mxolisi John Tsoari, better known as Ntate FOCHO, hails from Evaton but traces his roots back to Lesotho, specifically the village of Koro-Koro in Ha Mofoka. Born in Grasmere in 1988, Tsoari embodies the essence of Sotho rap, infusing it with his unique style, which he aptly terms FOCHO music, characterized by accordion elements.
His journey into the world of rap began in 2008, culminating in the release of his debut album, ‘Khililik’. However, after making waves in the industry, Tsoari decided to take a hiatus from the music scene. Now, he’s making a triumphant return, ready to reclaim his rightful place in the spotlight.
Since his comeback, Tsoari has been electrifying audiences with his performances both in Johannesburg and Vaal. As he gears up for his next musical endeavor, Tsoari has announced the imminent release of his latest single, ‘Lenothi’ for which he plans to shoot a corresponding music video.
Beyond his forthcoming single, Tsoari is hard at work in the studio, cooking up new tracks that promise to captivate audiences once again. Operating independently under his own label, FOCHO Records, Tsoari is determined to carve out his own path in the industry.
As Ntate FOCHO embarks on this new chapter of his musical career, fans eagerly anticipate the sonic treasures he is poised to deliver. Stay tuned for more electrifying releases from this rising star in the Sotho rap scene.
