Malume Sexture set to release explosive fusion album “The RAPIANO KING”
Following the release of his EP in August last year, Sibusiso Elezia Mpofu, popularly known as Malume Sexture, is gearing up to drop his debut album, “The RAPIANO KING” a groundbreaking fusion of rap and amapiano.
Promising an electrifying 21-track experience, The RAPIANO KING features a stellar lineup of talent with Malume Sexture enlisting the likes of 808 MusiQ, Hloniphile, Maceeya, Sean Locain, Sgovii, Mr Yano, Big N, Sbosh Vocals, Sthibo Thee Vocalist, African Nation and Thotho Womdantso.
Taking charge of the production process, Malume Sexture and Maceeya, meticulously mixed and mastered each track, ensuring a sonic experience that captivates from start to finish. Speaking to Orange Farm News, Sexture revealed, “We anticipate to drop the album on 26 April, and it will be available on all streaming platforms.”
Recorded at Orange Farm’s S’yaba Enter Records, the album’s flagship track, “RAPIANO,” encapsulates the essence of the project—a perfect blend of rap within the amapiano genre.
Sexture’s journey into the music industry began in 2018 during his grade 8 years, marked by earlier projects like the heartfelt single “Farmton” and the EP “Farmton Is Not A Jungle,” paying homage to his hometown.
Malume Sexture reflected on the challenges faced as an underground artist including struggles of lacking a personal studio at the beginning of his career.
