Sunday’s live music sessions kick off on a positive note
On 28 January, Empress Lily, in collaboration with @Dark Angel and Gangalee Production, hosted a vibrant event at David House in Ext 8b.
The gathering marked the launch of the monthly Family Fun Day initiative, set to take place every last Sunday of the month. Local artists are provided with a platform to showcase their talents as part of the organizers’ commitment to empowering the community’s youth.
Khanyisa ‘Empress Lily’ Dibane, speaking to Orange Farm News, acknowledged the event’s success despite facing challenges. She highlighted the learning experience and expressed the organizers’ ambition to make each upcoming event not only spectacular but also achieve their goal of empowering local youths.
