KING-DEE’s music video shoot in Drieziek 4 aims to inspire Kasi artists
Hector Tharaga, the visionary behind Hectonic Entertainment, aimed to inspire local talents by choosing Drieziek 4 as the backdrop for KING-DEE’s music video shoot.
On a bright October 14th, this unique video production spanned four locations: Drieziek 4, Poortjie Farm, Jeppe, and Maboneng. Tharaga’s motivation was simple: to convey that your roots and surroundings should never hinder your artistic dreams.
Speaking to Orange Farm News, Tharaga shared: “KING-DEE, a Germiston native signed under Hectonic Entertainment, was elated to film in Orange Farm.”
The featured song, ‘Ngwana Moshoeshoe’ by KING-DEE ft. Temple Arena & Tribal Guru, beautifully captures a Sesotho love story. The music video was co-directed by Tharaga and SAMKAM, hailing from Congo.
“In a matter of days, the song will grace the airwaves of Lesedi FM, Thetha FM, Sedibeng FM, and more,” Tharaga announced. The music video is set to premiere on Channel O, MTV Base, Trace, and Soweto TV, so stay tuned!,” he added.
Hector Tharaga and KING-DEE extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Orange Farm Driziek 4 community, stylist Boitumelo Masuku, Patrick, and SAMKAM Productions. Special thanks go to Mapotse Tabohane, a seasoned professional actress who portrayed the leading lady’s mother. Her impressive acting resume includes roles in various Mzansi Magic movies.
