Pro-Gear’s director, Sphiwe Mpumela has previously donated a netball kit and delivered motivational speeches to learners.

He told Orange Farm News: “This is something we normally do, in my past encounter with Tebogo Montshioa (an educator and netball coach at Thetha) while she was looking for netball sponsorship – it facilitated my ability to make this donation.”

“It pains my heart seeing learners coming to school wearing torn shoes and some wearing sneakers. This drops their confidence, but now that shoes are here, I am beyond happy,” Montshioa added.

The school’s deputy principal, Charles Simbini, thanked Mpumela and applauded Montshioa for getting an amazing donor for the school.
