Operation ManjeNamhlanje held in Orange Farm
Various stakeholders recently conducted ManjeNamhlanje Night Life Operation in Orange Farm, where taverns and pubs were checked for compliance.
The operation was held at various places was led by the MMC of Public Safety Mgcini Tshwaku who was joined by JMPD, SAPS, City of Johannesburg EMS and Environmental Health amongst others.
ManjeNamhlanje aims to tackle lawlessness and check for compliance at places of entertainment such as taverns and pubs.
“Taverns and pubs have become a conclave of thugs and criminals. Saturation in Orange Farm, is not gonna stop anytime soon,” wrote Tshwaku on Twitter.
