Intouch equips more Orange Farm youth with computer skills

On Monday, 27 March, Intouch Youth Development and Tosunga Baninga issued certificates to 110 youths who completed a Basic Course in Computer Literacy at the Intouch Youth Centre in Orange Farm Ext 1.

The course is part of the organisations’ Computer Skills Programme which provides the youth with an introduction to essential computer skills as an indispensable component of work, education and personal life as we are moving more and more to digital platforms in the modern world.

“The course specifically looks at the Microsoft Office suite as the office automation application of choice and introduces the participants to Word, Excel and the Windows operating system. It develops their practical skills in the use of these software packages. These graduates have acquired digital and computer skills through a one-on-one approach tailored for an individualised training allowing them to be wel trained and mentored,” Intouch’s Ronald Kapaso told Orange Farm News.

If interested in this computer programme, visit Intouch Youth Centre at 8200 Ext.1 Orange Farm or Contact Ronald Kapaso on 076 808 1214.
